Excursions & Cultural Experiences
Each afternoon after the morning workshops, you’ll join three included group excursions. Depending on weather and local conditions, these may include:
Guided waterfall hikes through the jungle
Horseback riding in the Dominican countryside
Catamaran sailing with opportunities to swim and snorkel
Surf lessons at a beginner-friendly surf beach
We will also offer alternative, lower-intensity options for those who prefer a more relaxed experience during these times.
The exact excursions will be confirmed closer to departure, but you can count on three organized activities during the week plus additional free time to enjoy Cabarete’s beaches, local shops, and cafes.

Payment Details
Deposit: $500 deposit secures your spot.
Balance due: 50 days prior to program start (January 10, 2026)
Cancellation Policy
Deposit: Refundable until November 1, 2025, non-refundable after that date.
Cancellations after January 10, 2026:
50% refund of the total program fee for cancellations made up to 7 days before the program start (i.e., through February 22, 2026).
No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the start date (February 23–March 1, 2026).
The total program fee includes:

Sports Dry Needling System – Lower Extremity (SDNS LE)
Learn a multimodal approach to dry needling for the hip, thigh, knee, ankle, and foot — integrating manual therapy and corrective exercise.
You'll work with conditions like: ankle sprains, hip impingement, ACL tears, hamstring strains, Achilles tendinopathy, patellofemoral pain, and more.
Foundations
- Key anatomy, safety, and evidence-based use of dry needling for lower extremities.
Assessment
- Identify trigger points and movement dysfunction through case-based learning.
Hands-On Techniques
- Practice dry needling skills (pistoning, electrical stimulation) for hip, thigh, knee, lower leg, and foot.
Integrating Treatment
- Combine needling with manual therapy, mobility drills, and corrective exercise for return-to-sport.
Application
- Develop treatment plans, assess outcomes, and adapt for sport-specific demands.

Clint Serafino is the Founder of Global Physio Training Foundation (GPT) and owner of PERFORMANCE COLLECTIVE. Clint is a seasoned Physical Therapist with over 14 years of experience. He has worked with elite U.S. Military units, including Rangers, Green Berets, SEALs, and the Special Operations Command in Germany. In 2017, he completed a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy, placing him in the top 1% of PTs. Clint has also provided clinical expertise to athletes in MLS, NASCAR, Professional Bull Riding, and NCAA Division I sports.

Main Airport (Recommended): Puerto Plata International Airport (POP).
We provide group shuttles from POP to Cabarete on the arrival day (March 1) and back to POP on the final day (March 5).Alternative Airport: Santiago (STI) is another option, but it is about 90 minutes away by car. If you choose STI, you will need to arrange your own transportation or coordinate with us ahead of time.
Coming from elsewhere in the Dominican Republic?
Some participants may already be in the country. You are welcome to arrive independently—just plan to be at the hotel by mid-afternoon on March 1 to join the welcome dinner.
